WHAT IS TRUE WISDOM? True wisdom is for man to know that creation has a Creator, and that the universe did not come into existence per chance. That man has a Creator, and for that, man should endeavour to know the extent of his relationship with his Creator. This is wisdom. That man will know and accept his fallen state as regards his relationship with the Creator (God). Wisdom is for man to know the provision that God has made for man. That man will seek and strive to reconcile to God and by God’s provision only. And that is also wisdom. Wisdom is for man to know that God has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. Wisdom is for man to recognise and accept Jesus Christ as the only mediator between God and man. That Jesus is the only Way, the only Truth, and the only Life giver that God has revealed to mankind. And this is wisdom. Wisdom is for man to know that God gave us this Jesus, who was crucified and better still, who was raised from the dead, the Lord of all. Wisdom is for man to know that this Jesus who was seen taken up will come again to judge both the living and the dead. And finally, wisdom is for man to know that God has prepared a permanent place for the man who has been saved by the blood of Jesus. This is true Wisdom: 1 Cor 2:7-8. But do you know true foolishness? Foolishness is to say in your heart that there is no God. Psalm 14:1. To say that the universe came to existence on its own or by a “big bang” is foolishness. True foolishness is to stand before the Creator at the end of life and have no answer to the question of life in Jesus Christ. Yes, foolishness is to see yourself being driven from the presence of God permanently to eternal damnation. And YES, YES! true Wisdom is being welcomed by Jesus, the Man that God has chosen to be the Judge of all mankind, to His eternal home. Seek True Wisdom. Reject foolishness.
